Rural Broadband

A working group comprising representatives from InternetNZ, Local Government New Zealand, Federated Farmers, TUANZ and the Economic Development Association of New Zealand has been formed to progress a Rural Broadband Strategy Framework.

Framework Purpose

The Rural Broadband Strategy Framework aims to:

  • Guide local and central government action in improving broadband adoption in rural areas.
  • Create an input to government policy development on rural broadband.
